Louis Bruno lives on Long Island. He attended the University of Albany where he earned a Political Science degree. He enjoys sports, writing, music and art. Lou is married with two daughters and a chocolate labrador retriever. In his free time, he plays softball and football, walks and hikes with his wife and dog, and learns from his children.
Life on the Periphery: An Ordinary Man's View of the World was self published in 2014, a non-fiction work filled with humor, ideas, observations, issues and love. In addition, Lou has written two short stories, True Identity and The Fight, as part of his participation at the Gotham Writers Workshop.
In 2018, his novel entitled Nightwalker will be published. This work of fiction revolves around a serial killer, the detective who tirelessly works to capture him, and what they learn from and about each other. Nightwalker is filled with tension, suspense, humor, sarcasm and twists and turns. It will appeal to enthusiasts of the mystery/crime/thriller genre, as well as those who enjoy a riveting story, compelling characters and an unpredictable resolution.
